The Ekiti Tourism Master Plan aims to leverage the state’s rich cultural heritage, natural landscapes, and historical sites to boost tourism, create jobs, and drive sustainable economic growth. The UN delegation will work closely with local authorities to provide technical assistance, strategic planning, and capacity building.
Governor Biodun Oyebanji commented, “This collaboration with the UNWTO signifies our commitment to enhancing Ekiti’s tourism sector. We are optimistic that this master plan will unlock the full potential of our state as an attractive destination for both domestic and international tourists.”
