AFRICA CELEBRATES 2024 IS HERE: As La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort Lights up in readiness for a mega show

Art, Culture, Heritage, Tech and Business will come together on a single platform on May 12th, when Motherland Beckons will host the West African Regional Event of Africa Celebrates 2024.

Motherland Beckons will be hosting the West Africa Regional event at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. This event will feature participants from the 15 west African countries under the ECOWAS umbrella. A preliminary event to Africa Celebrates, at Addis Ababa come October 2024.

Legendary Gold Limited and Mayalz Events in partnership with the African Union Commission, the Embassies of Nigeria and Burundi to Ethiopia are jointly organizing the 2024 edition of Africa Celebrates in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, by collaborating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Ethiopia.

It will be 5 days of business, and an opportunity to experience real African hospitality as activities to mark Africa Celebrates 2024 rolls out in Addis Ababa. The event also welcomes the participation of all African countries and Africans in the diaspora. As they will have the opportunity of doing business and enjoying African diversified culture. Participating countries will also use the 5 day period, to market their touristic and business opportunities while exhibiting products made in their countries.

In preparation for the grand hosting of Africa Celebrates in Addis Ababa in October 2024, the Executive Board of Africa Celebrates decided to host 5 regional events in the 5 regions of Africa. These events are part of the countdown to the big event coming up in October at the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Nigeria therefore was chosen to host West Africa; Egypt to host North Africa; South Sudan to host East Africa; Congo Kinshasa to host Central Africa and South Africa to host Southern Africa.

And La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort is the choice for the West Africa Regional Event, which will lead the best of the region, eventually to Addis Ababa in October 2024.

Part of the aims and objectives of this huge major event, is to celebrate Africa’s unity in diversity by encouraging economic, social, and political integration of Africa through promoting intra-Africa’s rich art, culture, heritage, trade, investment, science, and technology transfers which can be explored as a catalyst for realizing a prosperous Africa.

It is also to encourage Africans and the rest of the world to patronize made in Africa, by eating African food, wearing African clothes, watching African films, appreciating African arts, crafts, music, dance and other African products and services. The event will also promote intra and inter African trade, investment, and tourism with the goal of supporting and empowering women and youths in creating wealth.
