Darkness As Earthquake Hits Japan

More than 100,000 people have become displaced as a result of an earthquake in central Japan today.

The affected city immediately went into darkness as electricity in the area was affected with two people losing their lives.

Meanwhile we hear that the Japan Meteorological Agency issued a significant tsunami warning. The first since the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami that killed almost 20,000 people in northeast Japan.

Many has at going to press have been evacuated as many houses has been destroyed. People have also been told to evacuate the area.

In another development, five persons dead after a JAL airliner crashes into quake aid plane at Tokyo airport.

According to report from Reuters, the Jet burst into flames after collision with the Coast Guard plane, but all 379 aboard Japan Airlines plane escaped the fire.

The report also has it that, an Aviation expert praises evacuation ‘miracle.’ Those who died are five of the six crew on Coast Guard plane.

The Coast Guard plane was due to deliver aid to quake zone.
