It was Deyemi’s birthday celebration last Saturday at the luscious, green lawn overlooking the Atlantic ocean at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort at Ibeju-lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
While Deyemi was excited about adding yet another year to her life, she did not know the magnitude of celebration that had been planned by family and friends to celebrate her.
Yes, it was a surprise birthday party, put in place by family and friends. So a friend told Deyemi, let’s spend the day at the beach front at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort. But on arrival at the sprawling 65 acres beach resort, guess what, Deyemi found her large nu ber of family and friends waiting to receive her!
And the scene was all so emotional for Deyemi the birthday gal, because they welcomed her with birthday songs, prayers, hugs, kisses and gifts.
Then party went into full swing, from the tour of the resort with its beautiful historical offerings, to the photographs and the arrival snacking sessions, Deyemi, the celebrant, family and friends, immersed themselves in luxurious fun!
The venue certainly was right for the occasion because there was so much space to play with amidst the serenity that nature presented before them.
So even the party lunch had to wait because the big boys and the big gals, wanted to have fun!
