Engr. Uwem Okoko Debunks Appointment Rumour By Gov. Umo Eno

The managing director of Hensek Integrated Services based in Uyo in Akwa Ibom State, Engr. Uwem Okoko, has debunked rumour that he has been appointed as a Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State.

In a statement released by Ubong Sampson, his communication and brand strategist, the popular businessman summed the rumour as false and diversionary.

Below is a full text of the statement:

RE: APPOINTMENT OF ENGR. UWEM OKOKO AS SENIOR SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE GOVERNOR ON DOMESTIC AFFAIRS

The attention of Engr. Uwem Okoko (FNSE)– MD/CEO of Hensek Integrated Services has been drawn to a misleading publication on the above subject. Accordingly, for record purposes, it is important to inform the general public that the publication is false in its context and intent.

While he would appreciate the stream of congratulatory messages from friends, political allies and well wishers, Engr. Okoko urges them to disregard such mischievous effort, as he promises them to stay focused on his primary objective to contribute to the development of Akwa Ibom state in line with the Arise Agenda of His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno.

It is therefore absurd, ludicrous and ill-conceived for the originator to have attempted, though unsuccessfully, to create unnecessary distraction and seek underserved attention, as well as abuse the access to media made free by technology.

Lastly the public is therefore urged to disregard the circulating publication in its entirety, while counting on Engr. Okoko and the continued commitment of his Hensek brand to excellent job deliveries, expanding its labour force through the Hensek Diversification Programme, as well as Hensek CSR which includes the serial free medical and surgical outreaches, scholarship schemes, rural electrification and water projects, among other social programmes.
