First Lady Remi Tinubu Endorses Gov Umo Eno’s Daughter To Continue Late Mom’s Projects

… Governor Has No Plan For A New Wife

The First Lady, Chief Mrs. Remi Tinubu who was on a condolence visit to the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, on his late wife’s recent passing, spent time with the Governor, and his immediate family, in a touching hour of mourning.

It was also an opportunity to move the Office of The First Lady in the state forward in the absence of Late Patience Umo Eno, who had during her time, started major humanitarian projects in the state, through her office.

Governor Umo Eno is said to have handed over his daughter, Mrs. Helen Obareki who had until now worked closely with the late mother as a Personal Assistant, to Nigeria’s First Lady, Chief Mrs. Remi Tinubu, as a capable hand, to continue the projects in that particular office.

The First Lady, Chief Mrs. Remi Tinubu is said to have immediately endorsed Mrs. Helen Obareki for the tasking role ahead and blessed her thereafter.

Obviously, Mrs. Helen Obareki, is definitely not a new face to Chief Mrs Remi Tinubu, since she has been in regular dutiful assignments to the villa in recent past, while working with the late mother.

Grapevine also reveal that, Governor Umo Eno may have shut down rumour mill speculations as he openly told a top Federal government official, that he has no plans whatsoever, to take a new wife! That he does not have time for that.

As it is, Mrs. Helen Obareki has fully resumed office, to coordinate and oversee all her mother’s projects and women activities in Akwa Ibom state.
