His Majesty Rex Semako I & VI, Timothy McPherson, the Lord of the Sixth Region House of Kings was on a royal visit to La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort over the weekend.

Despite having been to many places in Africa, His Majesty Timothy McPherson said he is overwhelmed by what he has been opportuned to see at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort. A whole new community of people opened up to him, networking and making new friends as he learnt the rich African culture, readily available at the resort.

He marvelled at the unique breakfast concept of the resort, as he had his breakfast, right inside the lagoon! His table was set inside the lagoon, with the fresh water of the lagoon, caressing his feet as he ate.

“This is uniquely African, you cannot get it elsewhere in the world,” said His Majesty. And that was just the beginning.

After the unique breakfast experience, the Founder of La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye, took His Majesty Rex Semako I & VI, Timothy McPherson, on a tour. A 3 hours affair which left the visiting King in awe of the African themed resort.

From a long walk on the beach front to the luxury homes at Obailerigi, Kodi, Obieze, Laba, Oso, Etisho, Anago, Amosan, and Ilerimi, the Lord of the Sixth Region House of King’s, came face to face with quality hospitality, African themed concept of the resort, the contextualized African architecture, resulting in homes with mud concrete exterior but luxury interior with swimming pool and exquisite decor.

He was particularly impressed to find out that none of the holiday homes have same interior. All with their unique features. And he admitted how dazed he was with the sight of the tree houses that make a good compliment of the ecosystemic environment of the resort.

At Ilerimi, the luxury home on the lagoon, His Majesty threw his hands up, in sheer amazement at the magnificent view of the lagoon as it synchronised with the green plants, the flowers and the mangrove, all in one!

“I love the peace, the serenity of this place!” He exclaimed.

Interestingly, His Majesty Rex Semako I & VI, Timothy McPherson also had the opportunity of playing a traditional role at the Naming Ceremony of an African American returnee, Mr Andrew Douglas, who was visiting Africa for the very first time. An epic event in the lives of all those who partook in the ceremony and those that witnessed Mr Andrew Douglas take on an African name, Chukwuemeka.
