An evening of African beats and gourmet delights at ‘EYO by La Campagne’ did not merely meet it’s expectations last Sunday, it exceeded them.

True to La Campagne’s tradition of transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary, this highbrow Sunday soirée was set against the stunning backdrop of Lagos Island, overlooking the serene lagoon. The event was hosted at 8 Oyinkan Abayomi Drive, Ikoyi, a location that exudes sophistication and class, befitting the caliber of its distinguished promoters.

The evening commenced with tantalizing aromas of exotic cuisine and fine wines, setting a luxurious tone, as guests arrived in style, in their opulent vehicles, a testament to their elite status. Among the attendees were influential business magnates, esteemed retirees, top politicians, and high-ranking government officials, each name more illustrious than the last.

Adding a touch of poetic elegance, Zimbabwean-American poet and artist, Meleni Mhlaba-Adebo delivered a stirring, thought-provoking ode to the beauty of African women, blending spoken word with musical artistry to the delight of the sophisticated audience.

Dolamu Badejo, the CEO of Culturalti, representing the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Idris Aregbe, in her speech, said that guests can now enjoy a seamless experience, with a cruise from Ikoyi to La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort for daytime activities, returning to the city for a sumptuous dinner at EYO by La Campagne.
