The Honourable Tourism Commissioners and other Tourism Stakeholders arrived early Sunday afternoon at the sprawling grounds of La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, at Ibeju-lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.

They arrived in large numbers from different states of the country. Each state being well represented. And ofcourse, inspired by the dutiful, commited, indefatigable, Tourism Minister, Mrs Lola Ade-John who equally arrived early Sunday afternoon, with a large number of delegates from her Ministry.

At this point, the importance of IPADA Initiative and IPADA Carnival to the present government of Nigeria, became glaringly obvious. All hands are certainly now on deck, to ensure a glamorous success of the forthcoming IPADA CARNIVAL which will take place at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort here in Lagos, between November 29th and December 8th, 2024, and that essentially was one of the central reason, this August crowd, had gathered here for this 2 day Stakeholders meeting, to finetune and panel-beat the strategies and final planning, for the great event.

But first, the host for today’s event and founder of IPADA Initiative and IPADA Carnival, Tourism Icon, Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye, had planned a series of activities and entertainment, to ensure the robus 2 day robust Stakeholders event.

Like it is said, at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, it’s always a non-stop, roller coaster like fun activities that keeps guests wowed throughout their stay. So after the ceremonial welcome party enjoyed by the Minister and the tourism ddelegates, another round of great entertainment followed at lunch with Atunda Entertainment Troupe. And they delivered different, ecstatic, cultural dance presentations from Northern Nigeria.

And then the delegates went on a tour of the entire 65 acres of La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, the venue for IPADA CARNIVAL 2024, an event that will be hosted, by His Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The delegates were taken on an extensive tour of the resort’s grounds. The tour aimed to familiarize the attendees with the resort’s unique blend of natural beauty and traditional African hospitality, highlighting its potential as a premier destination for cultural tourism.

The delegation, which included the Hon. Minister of Tourism Mrs Lola Ade- John, State Commissioners for Tourism, DGs, PS, Tourism Administrators, and other key stakeholders, began the tour shortly after their arrival.

Guided by the resort’s staff, they explored various sections of the expansive property, which is known for its pristine beaches, lush greenery, and a harmonious blend of African and modern architecture.

As the delegates walked through the serene surroundings of La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, they were introduced to several key features that make the resort a unique cultural haven.

Throughout the tour, the delegates expressed admiration for the resort’s dedication to promoting African culture while providing a luxurious and relaxing environment for guests. They noted that La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort stands as a testament to how cultural heritage can be seamlessly integrated into modern tourism.
