It was a wish, but some of his friends and family took it seriously and kindly by deciding to honour his wish and fulfill his birthday dream.
On the eve of his 66th birthday, 15th August 2024, Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye announced his birthday, calling out his friends to celebrate with him, not by sending him gifts, but by sending such gifts to orphanages or other less privileged homes or people on his behalf.
Since yesterday, tons of messages, videos and photographs of such kind efforts, have been pouring in, to show fulfilled charity missions across the country, of the less privileged being blessed on the 16th of August 2024, his birthday.
The tourist icon, wishes to seize this opportunity and medium, to thank you all for your love, kindness, and faith in the Lord who replenishes good, kind efforts.
