The Lagos State Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat will be the keynote speaker at a symposium, to mark the 86th Anniversary of Ikoyi Club 1938.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Ikoyi Club main lawn on Wednesday the 25th of September 2024. And it will be one of the many, lined-up events to celebrate the prestigious club’s existence since the past 86 years.
The Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. K. O. Hamzat will speak on this year’s theme of celebration, which is: Ikoyi Club 1938: Repositioning For The Modern Age!
The panelists at the event will include: Dr Nneka Okerearu, Director, Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University; Coach Aderenle Onikosi, CEO, Conegelics Consulting; Dr Stanley Muoneke, Director, Tipping Point Consulting Ltd; Mrs. Yvonne Ebbi, Lead Consultant, The Etiquette Place; while the moderator will be Anikeade Funke Treasure.
Other events slated for the celebration of the anniversary are: Tuesday 24th September, Jazz Night at the main bar; Wednesday 25th, evening, The Millennial Hang out at the Golf Banquet Hall at 6pm; Friday 27th, Staff Engagement at 10am, Elder’s Party at Ikoyi Club main lawn at 2pm, and then, The Ladies Night at 6pm; Saturday 28th, will be for Health Walk around Ikoyi environs at 1pm, followed immediately afterwards with a Children’s Party at Ikoyi Club main lawn; while the grand finale will be The Gala Night on Sunday, the 29th at Ikoyi main lawn at 4pm.
The Chairman for the 86th anniversary committee is Mr. Rufai Ladipo, a seasoned brand communications and marketing professional with over 20 years experience managing huge brands. He is also the CEO of Agile Communications Limited.
