IPADA Carnival Partners Nigerian Conservation Foundation

The Nigerian Conservativation Foundation has received with warm embrace a partnership with IPADA INITIATIVE and IPADA CARNIVAL on tree planting.

According to Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye, the founder of IPADA Initiative, “This partnership represents more than just an environmental effort; it is a powerful statement of our commitment to sustainable development and the promotion of eco-tourism across Nigeria and the entire African continent.

“Eco-tourism is a growing sector that not only preserves the natural beauty of our landscapes but also provides meaningful experiences for visitors. By planting trees, we are not just replenishing the earth; we are creating a future where our rich biodiversity can thrive. This initiative will enhance the ecological value of our tourist sites, making them even more attractive to both local and international visitors. Imagine a Nigeria and Africa where every state, every nation of Africa, is a sanctuary of green spaces, drawing tourists to experience the harmony between nature and culture. This is the vision we are striving to realize.

“Through this initiative, we aim to plant trees in every state across Nigeria, and different African nations, fostering a green revolution that will benefit communities, boost tourism, and support local economies. The trees we plant today will become the forests that shelter our wildlife, the parks where families gather, and the lungs that breathe life into our cities.

“As a diaspora returnee, I have experienced firsthand the joy and fulfillment of planting a tree here at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, winner Of The Best Hospitality Resort In Nigeria Award 2024. This simple act of nurturing the earth connects us to the land in a profound way. It is a reminder that we are stewards of this beautiful planet, responsible for its preservation for future generations.

Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye encouraged every African in the continent, to join, in the mission.

“Together, we can create a greener, more prosperous Nigeria, more prosperous Africa, where eco-tourism thrives and our natural heritage is celebrated. Let this collaboration be the start of a nationwide movement, an African continent movement, one that brings people together to protect and cherish the environment we all share,” he added.
