More condolence messages flow in for late Yetunde Oladeinde of The Nation newspaper, popularly known as Grandma, because of the ‘Grandma’ column she was writing for the newspaper.
The latest condolence is from the Lagos Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalism. Yetunde died at age 56.

With heavy hearts, the Lagos Council of NUJ deeply mourn the untimely death of our colleague and Comrade, Yetunde Oladeinde of The Nation newspapers.
Yetunde’s death was a big shock to us and highly devastating..
We are sad because this is the time the union looks forward to her immense contributions to the growth of NUJ.
We pray that God will comfort her family, friends and colleagues.
The Lord will grant her eternal rest.
