Top Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1) has been honoured with the chieftaincy title of ‘Olori OmoOba’ by the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.
The ceremony which took place over the weekend, at this year’s Ojude Oba festival in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, was as usual colourful with lots of memories.
“Olori OmoOba” title was last held by late Chief Subomi Balogun, the founder of the First City Merchant Bank (FCMB) who passed away in the month of may this year, invariably creating space for another, to be bestowed the title.
