… Celebrates Birthday in Abuja
Founder and CEO of Abuja based publishing firm, AfricAgenda (Publications) Limited, Chinelo Iwenofu, celebrated her birthday in style two days ago in Nigeria’s capital city Abuja.
Expectedly, it was packed with so much fun, grand merriment, laugher and exhibition of old and new dance steps.
We caught up with her, and here’s what she said about it:
“The theme of my birthday celebration this year was ‘Life Is Too Short and Keeps Getting Shorter!’ – So it turned out that a dinner for 5 or 6, ended up being a dinner for a lot more! So we managed to enjoy ourselves and the Brazilian meal.
“Coupled with the Boogie Night for over 50s at the Transcorp Hilton. Who would have thought they’d cater for us at the disco, huh? It felt like I’d entered a time capsule right back to the good old 80s and 90s.
“And I managed to come out standing! Rejuvenated and fully revived, I think I’m inspired to get back to my business,” said a happy Chinelo.
‘Chinny’ as she is fondly called by family and friends who thinks of herself as an entrepreneur, is not just a publisher but also a lawyer turned writer, freelance journalist, editor and realtor.
