The Minister of State for Defence, Honourable Minister Beĺlo Matawale has today visited the victims of Sunday Nights drone strike by the Nigerian Army.
The Minister’s delegation was overwhelmed with the number of victims, 66 of the injured victims at the Barau Dikko teaching hospital where they are receiving medical attention.
Matawale in a gesture of love and compassion spoke personally to some of the victims, encouraging them, reassuring them not to worry as the Army would take care of their bills.
It is also noteworthy that the Army has also donated 10 million naira on behalf of the Force to the family members of affected victims.
Bello Matawale is also a former Governor of Zamfara state.
