As predicted in our earlier story on the above, by the Founder of La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, Lagos, Nigeria, Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye, the historic moment when the salty water of the Atlantic ocean, parted ways with the fresh water of the Lagoon, took place previous night.
Guests woke up early morning to see that the mighty water of the Atlantic ocean which had hitherto hugged and embraced the huge water of the Lagoon, had parted ways once again.
Replacing the space where the contact of the two bodies of waters had met and embraced, is now a huge sand dune, which has become a wall of separation between the two waters.
The sand dune is building up from centimetres to metres and widening further.
For about two days, tourists had a field day photographing the historic embrace of the two waters and entire beach scene where this nature’s phenomenon took place.
Just few days ago, perhaps, if nobody was here to witness this nature’s marvel, the embrace of the two waters, would not have been documented.
Could it be that all over the world, some historical natural occurrences are taking place without being documented, because nobody was there to witness it?
