Newly Formed National NIHOTOUR Alumni Exco Pays Courtesy Visit to DG

The newly formed NIHOTOUR Caretaker Alumni National Steering Executive Committee, during the week, paid a courtesy visit to The Director General Mr. Nura S. Kangiwa.

The visit which was also referred to as the first familiarisation visit after taking Oath of office, was to synergies the Alumni vision, in line with the Institute’s overall vision.

The Alumni Excos included: the Chairman – Jonathan Justin Ake; Nat. P R.O – Hakeem Abiodun Salami; Ms. Nat. Treasurer- Umma El-Rufai; Mr. Nat. Secretary – Rasaq Dada; and the Lagos Campus Coordinator – Mr. Nasirudeen O. Afoke.

These were received by NIHOTOUR DG, Mr. Nura S. Kangiwa; the DSD – Mr. Philip Maga and the SSA to DG Mr. Joesef Karim at Nihotour headquarters in Abuja, on Tuesday 5th, March 2024.

The meeting availed the visitors an opportunity to thank the DG and his Team for their support which has guided the Alumni so far, and also to officially introduce the newly formed exco to the DG.

The DG pledged further his support for the body and expressed his hope that the Alumni Excos will harness their professional experiences and seek all other alumni members inputs, in ensuring a well designed, robust and hopeful future, for all students of the institute across the board.

The DG, Mr. Kangiwa thereafter proclaimed his official recognition of the excos, and promised his unflinching support to ensure the National Steering Committee enormous task becomes a success story.

He further encouraged the exco to work tirelessly to ensure birth of the substantive elected national executives through convention.

The DG expressed his delight, satisfaction and believe in the vision, the agenda and the sincere faces behind the alumni project with the kind of efforts put in so far, especially by demonstrating high intentionality by voluntarily pulling resources together, to undertake the uncommon risk to converge physically in Abuja and also representing the national regions.
