Information reaching us states that Niger guards have held President Mohamed Bazoum hostage inside the presidential palace in Niamey, the country’s capital.
Foreign media report states that the presidential guards have been blocked off the palace by military vehicles.
Government offices too has been blocked off.
So far, no announcements, except that the President has been held incommunicado.
