First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu and the First Lady of the Republic of Türkiye Mrs Emine Erdogan
First lady Emine Erdoğan hosted Nigerian first lady Oluremi Tinubu to dinner, yesterday in Instanbul, Turkey.
The Nigerian First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu was there at the invitation of Emine Erdoğan.
The two met at the Vahdettin Pavilion in Istanbul.
While Erdoğan congratulated Tinubu and her husband, on their victory at the poll and assumption of office, she also “emphasized on Nigeria’s rich culture and population, highlighting Nigeria’s importance as a friendly country for Turkey, expressing her belief that relations would strengthen and grow under Tinubu’s tenure.”
Oluremi Tinubu on her part, spoke of the importance of cultural exchange and women empowerment. Tinubu thanked Erdoğan for the invitation and hospitality.
