Senator Soji Akanbi has described the installation of Governor Seyi Makinde (incumbent Gov’nor of Oyo State) and his dear wife as the new Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom by the Osemawe of Ondo, Oba Dr. Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo, as an enviable feat.
The Senator further described the conferment of the Chieftaincy title as an agreement to the acceptability of Gov. Seyi Makinde in Yorubaland considering the historical relevance of Osamawe in South-West Nigeria.
On behalf of his family and esteemed supporters, the installation of Governor and his dear wife is worthy of felicity. The prestigious Jagunmolu title is noted for warriors and victors. With this feat, the sky is made so high for our Governor to reach.
Sen Akanbi further attest to the Osamawe of Ondo kingdom as a reputable and an ambassador of Yoruba at large. He remembered how Osamawe endorsed the SWAGA team when Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu ambition was taken to his kingdom.
