President Bola Tinubu has been charged to reinstate the free treatment of persons with albinism that has skin cancer.
The executive director TAF Africa, Jake Ekpelle gave the charge during MOU signing meeting with National Association of Government General Medical and Dental Practitioners held in Abuja on Friday.
Akpelle stressed the need to liase with private organizations And other relevant government agencies to provide proper primary healthcare for people with disabilities especially people with albinism.
He also sought for strategic partnership with stakeholders to come up with workable interventions for people with disabilities.
Also speaking the national president, National Association of Government General Medical and Dental Practitioners, Sofiri Peterside called on the government to be responsive and responsible for the citizenry especially for people with disabilities.
