Nigerian Tourism Minister, Mrs. Lola Ade-John, has assured Africans in Diaspora and lovers of Africa, coming from abroad to attend the forthcoming IPADA CARNIVAL celebration in Lagos, easy visa process.
Speaking during a 2 Day IPADA CARNIVAL Stakeholders Forum, held at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort in Ibeju-lekki, Lagos, Nigeria, the Tourism Minister who was represented on the second day of the event by four top personnel of the ministry led by Mr. Sunday Bisong, the Director of Domestic Tour Promotion, said that, “visa processing won’t be an issue for all people of African descent in the diaspora and all lovers of Africa abroad, who plan to attend the IPADA Carnival celebration in Lagos, taking place between November 29th and December 8th 2024 and 2025, at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
The difficulty of foreigners accessing Nigerian visa, was raised by a journalist, during a session, at the Stakeholders Forum.
The Director General, Bureau of Tourism Development, Ekiti State, Barrister Wale Ojo-Lanre, who also spoke on the issue, related his experience during a recent visit by UN delegates and other foreigners to Ekiti State for an event. He said he was pleased when he noted at the airport that the visitors had easy entry, without any strain or pain, when they arrived.
