The Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria (MWAM), has honoured wife of the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, H.E Pastor (Mrs.) Patience Umo Eno, with an award for her immense contributions to the association.
Recall that Deputy Governor of the state, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, had received a plaque of honour on behalf of Mrs Eno during the opening ceremony of the association’s 4th National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting held in Uyo, Friday 9th June, 2023, where the former represented the latter as Special Guest of Honour.
The Deputy Governor officially presented the award to the First Lady on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, in her office, at Government House, Uyo.
She also decorated the wife of the Governor as an Ambassador of the association.
