Ahenfo is a Ghanaian Born Musician living in Ghana who started his career when he was just nine years old in the mid 1980s in the central regional capital Cape Coast, Ghana, West Africa.
He was joined a band called the Roots Version led by Lovelace Owusu Asante where he gained the stage Name “Pee Rush.”
Though he was just nine years old Ahenfo played a very vital role by introducing the band before each show. His Seemingly small but at very attractive voice at that tender age made a great impact on the band.
The roots version played along on gigs with prominent bands like the Kente, Roots Anabo, and Bibiiba band and Don Carlos.
The Roots Version Band seized to function in the late 90s when most of the members travelled abroad for greener pastures. Thereafter Ahenfo collaborated with his closest Pal DJ Robert Snyper in the UK on various gigs which led to the first studio recording of the song Anadwo sa in the year 2000.
Anadwo sa was released in November 2000 as a single Album that featured Ekow Shylo and Nana Ama Dadzie and engineered by ace engineer Zap Mallet.
There after Ahenfo featured on many up and coming artists in the early 2,000. The most prominent was A-plus’ track “Mansah” backed by “She” which was later remixed by A-Plus and Kwabena Kwabena.
In 2007 there was an attempted release of a visa second Album “Ma y3 light” but was later withdrawn due to other commitments. Ahenfo has been a banker for the past 20 years and a philanthropist and has supported deprived children’s education in Ghana.
